My name is Wenche Lise Stjernstrøm and I am the owner of Kennel Nordic Sephir. I live in Tromsø, in the northern part of Norway. 
            
My dog's career started in 1997, when we got our first dog, a Dobermann. Arakia's Ikaros Maxime was his great name, and he went under the name of Biko daily. Since 1997 I have had several dogs. Including Doberpride's Black Pearl, Tara, and Doberpride's Brown Orlando Bloom, Panzer. Tara was part of everything and she is definitely a dog that has put more gray hairs in my head for 5 years than all of my 3 children have managed together.

I am passionate concerned with dogs and have always been fascinated of dogs and people that work together toward a common goal. I remember even the first time I saw a dog that had "work". When I went to school and we had a visit from a dog and lead from the Norwegian Rescue Dogs, where the guide showed what a dog could be trained to. It was then I really started my propaganda against mom, and I proclaimed loudly and clearly that I wanted my dog. 

Dogs are more than a hobby, and I have many good friends because of just my dogs. Dog owners are in general a separate race in itself. It's just dog owners who can see the joy in being greeted at the door of a drooling creature who is overjoyed just because we are coming home. I have had the dogs with me to a nursing home, and it is unbelievable what a joy a dog can spread among people, young and old. It's not without reason that therapy dogs are seen as medicine for mental and physical ill people. A dog gives peace, corporate, exercise, joy and comfort.

Since 2002, I had a budding breeder in me, and in April 2008 I received my first litter of Dobermann, and in September 2008 I got my first litter of Miniature Schnauzers. In late autumn 2008, I realize that my job as sales consultant could not be combined with such a large active dog breed that Dobermann is, and I had to take the heavy step to send Tara and Panzer back to their breeder. Tara and Panzer live today in the Kennel Doberpride, thanks to Alf Ivar that would take care of my 2 beauties. Dobermann is a race that will always be a part of my heart. It is an honest dog breed - what you see is what you get.

In our household we have today 3 dogs of the breed Miniature Schnauzers. I have from the start been very facinated by the breed. Miniature Schnauzer is a large dog in a small body. I bought my first Miniature Schnauzer from the Kennel Fachira in October 2006, Fachira's Femme Fatale, Lilli. Six months later came a dog No. 2 in the house. Zarazota's Paso Doble, Hjalmar. And finally, little Bonnie, Baroness Beatrice V Nordic Sephir, which saw the light of day 22/09/2008. Bonni is the daughter of Lilli, and the result of a combination that I am very happy with.

I'm not among those who have the most dogs at home, but I've found that life without it is lonely. I'm never alone, if the family on 2 feet are away, I always have the ones on 4 feet among me. I hate the fact of being alone.
